Current MiB priorities

  1. Keep you up to date on our work through this group.
  2. Provide a download of MiB for test (primary for those with a Drupal capable IT person).
  3. Provide sufficient documentation for setting MiB up and adapting to your language.
  4. Document guidelines for developing modules for MiB.
  5. Provide (light) installation to countries with a Drupal capable IT person.
  6. Provide bulk installation to (smaller) countries with great need and little or no current system.

The MiB deal

MiB is open source and you may download, test and use it for free.

MiB has been paid for and developed by Mensa Denmark for now.

We kindly suggest a one time Entry Fee of EUR 2 / user if you choose to use MiB and you are a Full National Mensa with sufficient funds.

All donations will go towards further development of MIB.

We urge you to follow the guidelines for any additional modules you may develop

MiB Governance

We (John Doktor & Peter Ring) are the dictators of the project.

Our aim is to help as many National Mensas to join the Mensa in a Box / Mensa Out of the Box as possible.

Our decitions will aim at benefitting all end users - use the forums and gain influence.

We also intend to give up our dictatorship as soon as we see the benefit for the project

Is it really free software?

The software is absolutely free to use - however . . .

We are encouraging a voluntary entry fee donation of EUR 2 per member from succesful Full National Mensas. The donations will benefit all users through further software development. We also encourage Emerging, Provisional & very small Mensas to use Mensa in a Box free of charge.

 Share & enjoy
